Register for School Celebration & Commencement Events

Faculty are invited to march in both academic processions at the School Celebrations and Commencement on the National Mall. Registration is required. Faculty will receive information on how to register in the spring semester.

Regalia

Faculty are required to provide their own regalia to attend Commencement Week events.

  • Regalia is available to rent or purchase online through Thursday, April 2. Jostens' early bird sale ends February 4, 2026.
    • If you are renting regalia, select “Graduation Caps and Gowns” and then “Faculty Rental Homeship”
    • If you are purchasing regalia, select “Fine Quality Regalia”
    • When renting or purchasing online, you should select regalia from the institution where you received your highest or last degree
    • Please note: Online regalia orders will take 4-6 weeks to arrive.
  • Regalia will be available in-person for rental only from the GW Campus Store beginning Monday, April 13.
